Where will I see my earnings?

You can view your earnings under the head “Expert Earnings”on your expert dashboard.

What is the payment cycle?

The withdrawal request is automatically generated every Tuesday. After the request generation, it takes us around 2 to 3 working days to release your payment.

What are the payment methods for earnings withdrawal?

You can withdraw your earnings using PayPal account or Wire transfer.

Can I change my payment method?

Yes, you can update your payment method. Follow the steps below to update it.

  • Click on your Profile icon at the top right corner of your dashboard.
  • Select Withdraw Payments from the drop-down menu.
  • You can add your new withdrawal source by selecting + icon.

Where can I see my transaction history?

In order to view your transaction history follow the steps below.

  • Click on your Profile icon at the top right corner of your dashboard.
  • Select Finances> Transaction History from the drop-down menu.

Why my payment is declined?

If your payment is declined it may be because of an unverified withdrawal method. Please verify your withdrawal method or provide an alternative source to release your payment.

Why my earnings are not being updated?

An Expert is paid for every accepted answer other than probation period. At times, due to some temporary technical glitch/delay, there might appear some issue regarding answer count being less or not being updated. If your count does not get updated within 24 hours, please feel free to contact us.

Become an Expert

I live outside US, can I still apply for an expert?

Yes, you can apply for being an expert irrespective of your nationality and region.

What is the eligibility criteria for an Expert?

You must have passed the first year of your Bachelor’s degree in order to apply for being an Expert.

What is the Registration Process?

The registration process is simple and takes hardly 10 minutes if you are well prepared. Please visit Registration Guidelines to know more about it.

My college/ university is not in the list, what should I do?

If your university name is not included in the prescribed list, you can type your university name by selecting the “Other” option

What is the profile verification process?

When you meet your minimum earnings threshold after clearing your probation period, your profile information is verified against your provided documents.

Do I have to use my original name as an Expert?

You must provide your original details as they will be matched against your provided government issued documents. However, your username will be generated via auto-system.

I am a tutor but now I want to apply for an Expert, can I do that?

Yes, you can work as both tutor and expert simultaneously. Please register yourself at HelloExperts webpage.

What happens in probation period?

When you register yourself at Helloexperts, you are placed in the Probation Period during which you have to answer 5 questions. Your answers are closely monitored by our QA department to assess your skills and quality of answers.

Is there any payment for questions solved during probation period?

No, you will not be paid for your Probation answers.

Working as Expert

Being an expert, can I post any question?

No unfortunately, this service is only available for students.

Is there any reward for answering more questions?

I forgot my account password, how can I reset it?

If you forgot your password, you can reset your password by clicking on Forget Password under the SignIn dialogue box. You will receive an email containing your new password information.

Why am I unable to lock any question?

If you are unable to lock any question, there may be the following reasons:

  • Your account might be suspended. Please visit Expert Suspension Policies to know more about your account suspension.
  • It can be because of some temporary glitch, please try again after some time.

How many questions may I skip?

You can skip questions as many as you want within 30 minutes of locking the questions.

I received a question from different subject, can I solve the question if I know the answer?

Yes, you can answer if you are confident about the solution. You need to make sure that the answer must be explained step by step.

May I know the reason for answer rejection?

All the possible rejection reasons include the violation of the Expert Answering Guidelines.

Is there any limit to solve questions in a day?

No, there is no limit to questions solved in a day.

How would I know if my answer is accepted or rejected?

After you submit an answer, it will take around 3 to 5 business days for our QA department to review your answer. You will get notified via email about the status of your answer.

How can I improve my performance score?

Your performance score is directly related to your number of answers accepted. Please follow Expert Answering Guidelines carefully to get maximum performance score.

How can I avoid my answer rejection?

Please follow Expert Answering Guidelines carefully to avoid any answer rejection. For your convenience, here are some commonly committed errors by Experts:

  • Plagiarized Answer
  • Giving Direct Answers to Multiple Choices Questions
  • Calculation errors
  • Not Skipping Incomplete Questions

Can I use third party application services for scanning my answer document?

Yes, you can use any third-party application (For example: Cam scanner) to upload and imaeg in answer. Please make sure that you always crop out the logo of third-party application. Failing to do so will result in answer rejection.

Do I get the option to edit an answer after submission?

We do not allow an answer to be edited once submitted. Therefore, we recommend you to review your answer carefully before submission.

How do I deactivate or close my expert account?

To close your account, feel free to contact us.

Account Restriction

If my account is suspended for a certain time, will I get the pending payment?

If your account is suspended for any reason, you will not be able to get your payment released until the suspension is removed.
