Expert Suspension Policies

HelloExperts has become a popular earning source through answering questions posted by students. We gladly appreciate the experts who have managed to maintain quality of answers they provide. However, for some of the experts, answers are rejected because they do not comply our answering policies. As a result these experts face temporary suspension of their accounts and they are restricted to answer any questions during the suspension period. Our teams are continuously monitoring the answers quality based on the answering policies to ensure that the experts are providing quality answers to the questions asked by students.


How suspension is applied

1. Poor quality of answers

As a general rule, the suspension will be automatically applied to the experts who have not maintained a minimum of 40% answers acceptance ratio. The details about how the suspension will apply are as follows:

2. When question is locked and not answered

When an expert locks a question he / she can decide to answer that question or skip that question within an allowed time of 30 minutes. During the time a question is locked no other expert can see the same question. If an expert holds a question for more than 30 minutes and does not decide to answer or skip that question, this suspension applies. By holding a question locked restricts other experts from answering a question. Experts are highly recommended to not to LOCK a question for more than lock time allowed. If they can’t answer a question they should skip the question within the allowed time limit. The details about how the suspension will apply are as follows:

(i) If first consecutive 3/10 answers are not accepted after 3rd suspension has expired.

(ii) If less than 8/20 answers are accepted after 3rd suspension has expired.

(iii) If a question is locked for more than 30 minutes and no answer submitted.

7 Days

5th

(i) If first consecutive 3/10 answers are not accepted after 4th suspension has expired.

(ii) If less than 8/20 answers are accepted after 4th suspension has expired.

(iii) If a question is locked for more than 30 minutes and no answer submitted.

14 Days

Termination

(i) If first consecutive 3/10 answers are not accepted after 5th suspension has expired.

(ii) If less than 8/20 answers are accepted after 5th suspension has expired

(iii) If a question is locked for more than 30 minutes and no answer submitted.

Account will be permanently Terminated

Restrictions during suspension period

All experts facing suspension will not be allowed to answer any questions during the suspension period. The expert will not be able to submit the answer if suspension applies during the process of answering a question.

Also the withdrawal requests initiated by the suspended experts will not be processed and the funds will be on hold until the suspension period has ended.

In case an expert is terminated the available earnings will be lost and HelloExperts will not be held liable to pay such earnings.
