These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of HelloExperts, an educational platform providing expert question solutions for students from Pre-K to Undergraduate level, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through our website ("the Platform").
Please read these Terms carefully before using the Platform. By using the Platform, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.
1. User Eligibility
You must be at least 5 years of age to use the Platform. Our services are designed for students from Pre-K through Undergraduate level. If you are under 18 years of age, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the Platform. Please have them read these Terms with you.
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements we outline in these Terms. We may still refuse to let certain people access or use the Platform. We may also change our eligibility criteria at any time.
2. User Accounts
Account Creation
To access certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself, including your current educational level (Pre-K, Grade 1-8, High School, or Undergraduate) to help us tailor our services to your needs. You must keep this information updated.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
One Person, One Account
You may not share your account with anyone else or allow others to access or use your account. You may not transfer your account to any other person. We reserve the right to terminate your account if we discover that it is being used by multiple individuals.
3. Platform Content and License
All content on the Platform, including but not limited to expert solutions, explanations, step-by-step guides, mathematical derivations, textbook solutions, practice problems, study guides, and educational materials for all grade levels from Pre-K to Undergraduate and for topics such as Linear Algebra, Polynomials, Abstract Algebra, Elementary Algebra, Boolean Algebra, and Commutative Algebra, is the property of HelloExperts or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.
Limited License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Platform and its content for your personal educational purposes only. This license does not include:
- The right to reproduce, distribute, display, sell, lease, transmit, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit the Platform content.
- The right to use any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering or extraction methods.
- The right to download (other than page caching) any portion of the Platform, except as expressly permitted.
Any use of the Platform or its content other than as specifically authorized herein, without our prior written permission, is strictly prohibited and will terminate the license granted herein.
4. User-Generated Content
The Platform allows you to submit educational questions, mathematical problems, homework queries, and other academic content ("User Content") for various grade levels from Pre-K to Undergraduate and for subjects including Linear Algebra, Polynomials, Abstract Algebra, Elementary Algebra, Boolean Algebra, and Commutative Algebra. By submitting User Content, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content in any media.
Content Restrictions
You agree that you will not submit User Content that:
- Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, invasive of privacy, or offensive.
- Infringes on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property right.
- Contains software viruses or any other computer code designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer system.
- Impersonates any person or entity or misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity.
- Promotes illegal activities or conduct that is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory, or libelous.
- Submits questions that are unrelated to educational purposes or outside our supported grade levels and subjects.
Content Monitoring
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, edit, or remove any User Content. We also reserve the right to take any action with respect to User Content that we deem necessary or appropriate in our sole discretion, including if we believe that such User Content violates these Terms, infringes any intellectual property right or other right, threatens personal safety, or could create liability for us.
6. Academic Integrity
HelloExperts is committed to upholding academic integrity and promoting ethical learning practices across all educational levels from Pre-K to Undergraduate. Our Platform is designed to provide expert solutions and explanations to help students understand concepts in various subjects including Linear Algebra, Polynomials, Abstract Algebra, Elementary Algebra, Boolean Algebra, and Commutative Algebra, not to facilitate academic dishonesty.
Appropriate Use
You may use our resources for:
- Understanding complex mathematical concepts and problem-solving methods
- Learning step-by-step approaches to solving algebraic problems
- Reviewing material and studying for exams
- Checking your work and verifying your own solutions
- Getting help when you're stuck on homework or practice problems
- Expanding your knowledge beyond classroom materials
Prohibited Use
You may not use our Platform to:
- Submit our answers or content as your own academic work
- Complete assignments or take exams on behalf of another student
- Share subscription access with others to help them cheat
- Violate any academic integrity policies of your educational institution
- Obtain solutions for current exams or quizzes
We reserve the right to cooperate with educational institutions in investigating suspected academic integrity violations and to terminate accounts found to be used for such purposes.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
The Platform and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all mathematical solutions, educational materials, explanations, step-by-step guides, practice problems, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by HelloExperts, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
Trademarks
The HelloExperts name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of HelloExperts or its affiliates. You may not use such marks without the prior written permission of HelloExperts.
Copyright Complaints
If you believe that any content on the Platform violates your copyright, please see our Copyright Policy for instructions on sending us a notice of copyright infringement.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The platform is provided as-is and when available, without any guarantees of any kind, whether stated directly or implied. Neither HelloExperts nor anyone associated with HelloExperts makes any promises about the completeness, security, reliability, quality, accuracy, or availability of the platform.
Furthermore, neither HelloExperts nor anyone associated with HelloExperts claims that the platform will be accurate, reliable, error-free, or uninterrupted. We don't guarantee that defects will be fixed, that the platform or its servers are free of viruses or other harmful elements, or that the platform will meet your specific needs or expectations.
HelloExperts disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, statutory or otherwise, including but not limited to any warranties of merchantability, non-infringement, and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent provided by law, in no event will HelloExperts, its affiliates, or their licensors, service providers, employees, agents, officers, or directors be liable for damages of any kind, under any legal theory, arising out of or in connection with your use, or inability to use, the Platform, including any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, personal injury, pain and suffering, emotional distress, loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of business or anticipated savings, loss of use, loss of goodwill, loss of data, and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract, or otherwise, even if foreseeable.
The foregoing does not affect any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HelloExperts, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Platform, including, but not limited to, your User Content, any use of the Platform's content, services, and products other than as expressly authorized in these Terms, or your use of any information obtained from the Platform.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.
If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Platform or cancel your subscription through your account settings.
All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and your use of the Platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule.
Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of, or related to, these Terms or the Platform shall be instituted exclusively in the federal courts of the United States or the courts of the State of California, although we retain the right to bring any suit, action, or proceeding against you for breach of these Terms in your country of residence or any other relevant country.
You waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to venue in such courts.
